South Lakes PTSA Food Pantry

The PTSA Pantry has been a pillar of our community since 2017, providing not just food and toiletries, but also hope to students and families in the South Lakes High School (SLHS) Pyramid.

The Pantry was established to help close the hunger and nutrition gap for the 30% of SLHS students who are on free and reduced lunch (approximately 730 students)

  • We support over 170 families curbside and over 120 students who "shop" each week.
  • We've distributed over 50,000 bags, brimming with nutritious and fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, eggs, baking goods, essential feminine products, and even ready-to-eat meals.
  • These bags offer more than sustenance. They're packed with love and care from our dedicated volunteers, who support our community.
